MY JOURNEY

I'm Anastasia, and I write about wine from my home in sunny Languedoc.
Having grown up in Provence and spent most of my adult life in Languedoc, my relationship with wine has been shaped by the landscapes, the people, and the stories that define the South of France.
What began as a simple curiosity at the age of nineteen gradually became a passion for exploring vineyards, meeting the people behind the wines, and uncovering the stories that give each bottle its sense of place.
Through Wine by Ana, I write about wine, food, and the places that make this region so distinctive. My work combines field reporting, approachable wine education, and tasting notes, with the aim of making wine more accessible while celebrating the culture and craftsmanship behind it.
Over the years, I have earned the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines, worked on international wine competitions and industry events, and collaborated on wine experiences that have given me an insider's perspective on the world of wine. Today, my work is centred on telling the stories of the South of France through the wines and the people who create them.
